In this course, we look closer at how procurement managers can create, develop and adapt their global supplier network for optimum supplier performance and value creation. On-boarding of new suppliers is not just a simple scoring exercise combined with a tender or negotiation. Companies must consider broader strategic objectives simultaneously, for example the need for resilience and sustainability.

A solid supplier segmentation model must ensure that the company can continue to get the most optimum value out of its supplier network. In addition, companies must analyze their strategic posture and attractiveness, to ensure that they can attract the best global suppliers in a business landscape with growing scarcities and pressure on global capacity.
