Seminar & Workshop: Global sourcing and shoring

Global sourcing is not what it used to be. In 2024, reshoring outpaced offshoring for the first time in decades. Procurement managers must now relate to the fact that more global sourcing for low cost is not necessarily better for procurements’ mission to support their company’s competitive advantage.

In this course, we cover methods of analyzing and determining global sourcing, offshoring and reshoring choices. We also look at advanced global sourcing strategies such as regionalization and China+1. Finally, we discuss methods for understanding global political and economic changes and how they impact the strategic objectives of the company.
